On Tuesday, May 20, the finale ofThe VoiceSeason 27 will air onNBCand will include performances from the top five finalists, but this year’s curtain call is lining up to be unforgettable. The conclusion to season 27 will not only feature musical acts, butalso some of the most beloved coaches in the history of the show.
Next week, fans will be treated to the return ofBlake Shelton,Kelly Clarkson,Alicia KeysandChance The Rapper,all of whom will also be performing live during the finale. In addition, the songs each legendary coach will perform have been revealed. Shelton will sing “Texas” from his latest albumFor Recreational Use Only, which he released this year. It will also be the first time the country singer has appeared onThe Voicesince leaving the show in 2023.Clarkson will be gearing up to sing her newest hit single “Where Have You Been,” which she released earlier this month.The season 1 winnerofAmerican Idolalso returned during last year’s finale ofThe Voicewhere she performed “You For Christmas,” with the last show occurring in December.

Alicia Keys will appear withAmanda Reidto debut “The River/Empire State of Mind” from her Broadway musicalHell’s Kitchen.Keys was a coach between seasons 12-14, buthasn’t been seen on the program since 2018.Finally, similar to Clarkson, Chance The Rapper will be performing his newest release titled “Space and Time” from his new projectStar Line.The 32-year-old leftThe Voiceafter season 25, but next Tuesday’s performance will be hisfirst appearance on the show in a full year.The Voice’sviewership has beendramatically declining since the beginning of April,but hopefully, with the star-studded lineup for the finale, season 27 will manage to finish on a strong note. Furthermore, other former coaches and surprise musical guests have been announced ahead of next week’s show, which should also have a positive impact on ratings.

More Surprise Guests to Perform During the Finale

Bay and Crow will debut “You and Me Time” for their first joint effort together, while Jonas and Leatherwood will each perform new singles for their upcoming solo albums set to release this month. Regarding Foreigner,they will be bringing out the classics,playing iconic tunes such as “Feels like the First Time,” Juke Box Hero," and “I Want to Know What Love Is.” Levine, Ballerini, Bublé and Legend will alsobe singing duets with their respective finalists, but the song choice for each performance has yet to be selected. Although it remains uncertain how long night two of the live finale of season 27 will be, it’s expected the program could run close to three hours due to the number of performances scheduled for the show.
Next Monday, the top 5 artists left in the competition will perform their final song, with some of the coaches' performances expected to take place as well, starting at 8:00 p.m EST. The following night, the host ofThe Voice,Carson Daly,will presenta recap of the acts that took center stage on Monday,which is set to last an hour long. Then, at 9:00 p.m. EST, the live finale will begin where the results will be unveiled, all special guests will perform, and the winner of season 27 will be crowned. In addition,The Voicejust announced their coaching lineup for season 28,which will see some significant changes, but with familiar faces. Along with the already pre-announcedSnoop Doggand a returning Bublé,Reba McEntireandNiall Horanwill be taking their rightful spot in the coaches' chairs later this year.
