Driver may be a big movie star now, thanks toStar Wars: The Force Awakens, but he’s also had a thriving career in smaller and indie films. His latest effort isPaterson, named for the central character, a bus driver with a simple life of love and poetry in New Jersey. It also marks the next project from directorJim Jarmush, who attended Cannes with Driver andGolshifte Farahani.

One of the bigger standouts from the festival, based on critical reception alone, isAmerican Honey.Shia LaBeoufinjured himself while filming, but he danced on the red carpet to “Choices (Yup)” along with the filmmaker and his fellow cast mates. The film features a cast of mostly newcomers playing a mischievous band of teens hustling across the country while partying and selling magazine subscriptions.
