Terrifier“The Bloody Duo”collectsTerrifierandTerrifier 2in a chillingly gorgeous steelbook. While we’ve had a ton of different 4K and Blu-ray releases of last year’s most talked about horror sequel,Terrifieronly received a normal Blu-ray edition when it debuted in 2016. The special features for both slashers will most likely remain the same as previous editions, butthis is the first time the original film will be released in 4K UHD. Even though many horror fans have an endless amount ofTerrifiereditions in their personal collections at this point, the new steelbook’s artwork might make this the best physical media release for the franchise yet.

The front cover representsTerrifier 2with a scary looking Art sneaking up behindLauren LaVera’s final girl, Sienna Shaw. Like in the final half of the sequel, Sienna’s wearing her angel warrior Halloween costume she made. There’s also a red and blue smoke trail illuminating both Art and Sienna that just makes this steelbook pop in comparison to pastTerrifiersteelbooks. Lastly, theback cover represents the first filmand sees Art takingJenna Kanell’s Tara Heyes hostage as her sister Victoria’s, played bySamantha Scaffidi, haunting fate plays out on an old TV. Tara was set up as the traditional final girl in the film, but asTerrifierfans know, she met agruesome endat the hands of Art.Victoria was the only survivor of Miles County’s first Halloween night bloodbath. However, the famous murder-happy clown left her incredibly mutilated, whichdrove Victoria insane. This more realistic, painted-like steelbook captures the horror of both films so maliciously well.
