I’m sure someone at some point called Han Solo theDavid BowieofStar Wars, perhaps when someone reimagined the galactic smuggler as Ziggy Stardust. Ina new mash upof famous albums and characters from the galaxy far, far away,Harrison Ford’s Solo gets closer to the music icon through a reimagining of Bowie’sHeroescover.
Steven Learis a freelance digital artist “who has an unhealthy obsession with movies, music, and Photoshop,” according to his website,WhytheLongPlayFace.com. He found joy in fusing pop culture imagery into album covers, and his latest batch is a throwback to the original trilogy and some timeless music.

Among the images are C-3PO and Yoda reenactingNirvana’sIn UteroandNevermindcovers, Lando Calrissian as the Purple Man, Princess Leia mirroringBjork, Emperor Palpatine channelingPeter Gabriel, andPink Floyd’sDark Side of the Moonessentially becomingDark Side of the Death Star.
All 37 are in the below photo album of the designer. But we also put 12 of our favorites (the “Greatest Hits”?) on this page.

On hisInstagram, Lear also offered similar treatments toElevenfromStranger Things, the guysfromPulp Fiction,Jeff Goldblum’s famousJurassic Parkpose,BanefromThe Dark Knight Rises, andReyfromStar Wars: The Force Awakens(channelingLana Del Rey). With more characters popping up inRogue One: A Star Wars StorywithFelicity Jones, directorRian Johnson’sStar Wars: Episode VIII, and beyond, here’s hoping for more source material in the years ahead.
Here, we’ll get you started. How about, Jyn Blossoms instead ofGin Blossoms? (I’ll leave now.) For more of the latest Star Wars news, check out the links below.
