Getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is an exciting adventure for any actor, but forThe Pitt’sNoah Wyle, he was"embarrassed" by the news. While filming Season 2 of the hit HBO series, Wyle was told in front of the cast and crew that he’d also be getting a star on the famous street. Stars likeHarrison FordandPaul Ruddhave gotten their stars on the Walk of Fame, and now Wyle will be among the greats.
The video showed Wyledressed as Dr. Robby fromThe Pittand had someone listing a lot of Wyle’s accomplishments, including his role as Dr. John Carter in thehit seriesER.Recently, Wyle has been the talk of the town after his role inThe Pittearned him critical acclaim, with fans hoping that he earns Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his work on Season 1. Fans love his work, and now they can celebrate him bychecking out his star. After Wyle was told, he gave a little speech to his fellow cast and crew of the show by sharing stories of his life growing up andhow he was truly excited about the star.
“We got babies on the clock, we gotta wrap this up fast,” he joked as he took the microphone.“I am so embarrassed!“Wyle was laughing and very visibly red but went on to say that he was “so, so, so thrilled.” He then shared a story about how he would walk home on Hollywood Boulevard as a kid. “I did grow up in Hollywood,” he said. “I used to walk home every day down Hollywood Blvd from Gardner Street Elementary School, and I would put my foot over the ‘Beery’ in Noah Beery Junior’s name on his star and think, ‘Oh, maybe one day.’ And I guess that day has come.”

David posted a video on his own social media about the news and shared his shock andappreciation for the recognition. “What a surprise! Being blessed to get to do this for a living is enough for me; to be recognized for my contribution to the arts is the cherry on top,” David wrote in the post’s caption.
