Warner Bros. has released a newPokemon:Detective Pikachutrailer online, and this movie continues to look delightful.Rob Letterman(Goosebumps) directs this adaptation of the popular characters, but I love that he’s infusing the whole film with a serious noir tone. The story, characters, and even cinematography are classic noir, then you throw in some tremendous visual effects to bring these adorable pokemon to life, and you’ve got yourself a movie that is very much my jam.
Justice Smithplays Tim, the son of a famous private eye who’s gone missing. He teams up with Pikachu (voiced byRyan Reynolds) to track his father down, and adorable misadventures ensue. This movie will make $1 billion.
