Andy Garciais officially part ofTaylor Sheridan’soil-slicked universewith his debut in the TV legend’s latest series,Landman— but the Oscar-nominated actor already has his sights on another corner of the expanding Sheridan-verse. During an interview at the Newport Beach TV Festival, Garcia told Collider’sAidan Kelleythat he’s more than ready to pack his bags for New Orleans and joinSamuel L. Jacksonin the recently announcedTulsa Kingspin-off,NOLA King.
“No. I mean, listen, as an actor,to be involved in the kind of writing that he puts out is a privilege, you know. So I’m sure if he has another idea for me, I’d be happy to be a part of [it].”

And when asked directly about theTulsa Kinguniverse? “I know he’s got, I heard he’s doing one now in Nola — in New Orleans.Yeah, let’s go to New Orleans. I’m ready.”
What Is ‘NOLA King’ About?
That spin-off,NOLA King, is set to featureSamuel L. Jacksonas a new crime boss entering Sheridan’s morally grey sandbox of larger-than-life antiheroes and regional power struggles. The show will follow in the footsteps ofTulsa King, which starsSylvester Stalloneas Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York mobster rebuilding his criminal empire in Oklahoma after being exiled by his family. WhileTulsa Kinghas thrived on its fish-out-of-water premise,NOLA Kingis expected to turn up the heat with Jackson’s signature swagger and the vibrant, gritty backdrop of New Orleans. Garcia, whoseLandmanrole as the enigmatic Galino is still shrouded in mystery, is clearly thrilled to be joining Sheridan’s creative world.
“What you saw in the scene we did is the first beat in the relationship. You have to use your imagination,”Garcia teased about his dynamic withBilly Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris. While he wouldn’t say whether his character is friend or foe, one thing’s clear: Garcia is embracing the ride. It’s not hard to imagine a crossover between Garcia’s polished presence and Jackson’s explosive charisma. WithTulsa KingSeason 3 currently filming andNOLA Kinggearing up, Garcia’s timing — and enthusiasm — might just earn him a front-row seat at the next Sheridan showdown.
