Few things are more American than mercilessly roasting loved ones just because you care. We love it so much in fact that we’ve made specials based solely around the idea of taking jabs at our most beloved (and sometimes most hated) celebrities. Enter Netflix’s new special,Jonas Brothers Family Roast. The new Netflix comedy special will take famous brothers,Kevin,Nick, andJoe Jonas,and put them on the main stage where comedians, friends, musicians, and others will tell their best jokes with the brothers as the punchline.
The roast, which will be hosted by Emmy Award-winning comedianKenan Thompson, will premiere worldwide on the streaming platform beginning June 19, 2025. As of right now, we know the guest list will includeSaturday Night LivecomedianPete Davidson, fellow musician and formerOne DirectionmemberNiall Horan, comedianGabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Grammy Award-winning musicianJohn Legend, comedianLilly Singh, and actorJack Whitehall.

Along with being the butt of the joke, the brothers will all serve as executive producers for the special alongsideEmma ConwayandGabe Turnerfor Fulwell 73,John Lloyd Taylor, andJames Longmanwho is also the showrunner.Lauren Greenberg, who has credits for both writing and producingThe Late Late Show With James Corden, will serve as head writer for the roast.

In photos and a clip released ahead of the roast’s premiere, viewers get a sneak peek into what they can expect from the upcoming special. The pictures show us all three brothers seated on stage (with Kevin in a loud yellow suit perfect for the roasting) laughing and clapping at whatever joke has just been thrown their way. We also see Tony Award-winning musician Legend in a red pinstripe suit behind a piano hopefully singing a satirical song aimed at the three superstars. Behind Legend, we see the wives of the brothers,Priyanka Chopra,Sophie Turner, andDanielle Deleasawith smiles on their faces. In the teaser clip, we see Davidson wearing a bright yellow shirt that says “I ❤️ JONAS” as the comedian mercilessly takes dig after dig at the boy band of brothers.
TheJonas Brothersfirst formed in 2005 and quickly rose to fame with their spots on the Disney Channel. The brothers starred in a few Disney Channel Original Movies and even got their own Disney Channel series. The musicians have gained Grammy nominations and won American Music Awards over their five-album spanning career. They separated as a band in 2013, only to get back into making music in 2019 with their latest Billboard-topping album,Happiness Begins.
