Statham stars alongsideHolt McCallany(The Waterfront) andJosh Hartnett(Trap) inWrath of Man, the 2021 action flick following a mysteriously capable man who is hired as a security guard by a cash truck company following a string of robberies.Wrath of Manhas been streaming on Hulu recently, where it’sfound tremendous success, butthe film also recently hit Prime Video in America, and it’s jumped into the top 10, sitting at #4 at the time of writing. The film earned a modest 68% from critics, but it soared with a “Verified Hot” 90% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

Despite coming out during a tricky time in the movie theater business due to the COVID-19 pandemic,Wrath of Manfound success during an era where so many movies were doomed to fail. The film grossed just over $100 million against a $40 million budget, safely moving it across its break-even point. It also marked the third time Jason Statham teamed up with directorGuy Ritchie, and the two even worked together two years later onOperation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, which also starsAubrey Plazaand Josh Hartnett. They first teamed up forLock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, which marked both the feature acting debut for Statham and the feature directorial debut for Ritchie. Jason Statham’s Biggest Movies Just Hit Netflix

Statham’s arsenal of movies on Netflix has been meager, to say the least, but the streamer recently fixed this by adding several of his most popular movies. BothFurious 7andFast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shawbegan streaming on Netflix over the weekend, and both have become streaming hits.Hobbs and Shaw, which also starsDwayne Johnson, has stolen the spotlight, though — it currently sits at #2 on the Netflix top 10.Furious 7, which grossed $1.5 billion globally, falls to #5.
