Throughout the early seasons of the iconicVanderpump Rules,I would argue thatJax Taylorplayed a massive part in the show’s success and the tremendous amount of entertainment that the show provided. Yes, we can all agree that throughout his time on the show,Jax was a serial cheater, liar, and manipulative, but there is no doubt that he was amazing for reality television. There were countless moments in the show that involved Jax where I thought to myself, “Yes. This is what reality television is all about.” However, recently, I believe that Jax has run his course as a television personality because things are much darker now.
I do not have the opinion of Jax Taylor that I once did. Although I never condoned his behavior onVanderpump Ruleswhen it came to cheating and lying, I thought he was hilarious and brought the entertainment. Now, Jax brings nothing but negativity and drama. We can see that throughout Season 1 ofThe Valleyand hispublic divorce fromBrittany Cartwright. His attitude throughout Season 1, his treatment of Brittany, and his behavior make me think it would be easier for him and television to part ways.
‘The Valley’s’ Jax and Brittany Are Irreparable
I am tired of watching Jax’sinexcusable behaviortoward Brittany. It has gone on long enough. We all saw Jax cheat on Brittany in Season 6 ofVanderpump RuleswithFaith Stowers.Although Brittany chose to forgive, move on, and give him another chance, the couplefiled for divorce in 2024.Once Jax opened up publicly about his substance abuseissues that he has dealt with since his 20s,Brittany took to social mediato explain that although she tried to get help for Jax and push through his addiction, it ultimatelyplayed a huge role in their split. It caused issues that Brittany could never forgive.
I think enough is enough when it comes to watchingJax constantly berate Brittanyand argue with her.He has openly admitted tobeing abusive in their relationship, so why even invite him back for Season 2? As I stated before, Jax is not the funny, entertaining man he once was. He is now more like a dark cloud looming overBravo. He has a history of being abusive, and because of that, I think it would be best for everyoneif he were not involved with television anymore. It would help Brittanyand the production, and let Jax heal without the pressure of filming.

Jax Dismissed ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Production
Recently, while watching Jax, whether on television or a podcast, I keep thinking thathe needs to be humbled already. On his podcast, “In The Mind of a Man,“Jax hosted an executive producer fromVanderpump Rules,Alex Baskin.During this podcast episode,Jax shared that he believes he got the boot from the showdue to histemper and his refusal to follow the rules of the production. “I think my final demise - which put the nail in the coffin for me - is towards the end. They wanted us to film at the beach, which was in Malibu. We all live in Hollywood.” Jax then explained that he suggested they film in West Hollywood instead, which led to him being accused of “micromanaging production.” “They wanted us to go to the beach and help clean - which is fine - but I just was not f****** doing it.” Not only was this unprofessional, considering his job is to show up when told to film the show, but it is a perfect example ofhim being unreliableand just how muchhis temper can affect things. A situation such as this one could erupt while filmingThe Valley, where he thinks he is above everyone else. This is why I believe it would be thesmartest decision for Jax and reality television to break up.
Jax Taylor has gotten away with so much throughout the years. From cheating, lying, and being abusive to going against production orders, I think Jax needs a real wake-up call. Leaving the world of reality television would be best.
