Huzzah!Ghostshas officially cast comedianNat Faxon, known for his roles inLootandOur Flag Means Death,as Alexander Hamilton. While it’s not known at this time which episode will feature Faxon’s Hamilton, he’s slated to appear as a guest star in early 2025. In the series, Hamilton was “Isaac’s rival in life and obsession in death.” Isaac’s (potentially one-sided) beef with his fellow founding father stretches back to the show’s second episode, in whichIsaac (Brandon Scott Jones)learns that they made a hit musical about Hamilton, while he’s remembered almost exclusively for dying of dysentery.

Thanks to a newly released video from theGhosts’social media accounts, it appears that Faxon’s Hamilton will appear in a flashback capacity as Isaac is sporting his 1700s curls previously seen in Season 2. Could we finally see how his rivalry with Isaac began? We’ll have to wait until 2025 to find out, but thankfully,Ghosts' midseason hiatus is on the shorter side, and new episodeswill return next year on January 30. You can watch the video featuring Faxon and Jones below!

What Else Do We Know About ‘Ghosts’ Season 4?

Beyond tonight’s episode, we can expect to see Isaac and Nigel begin mending their broken relationship in “Sad Farnsby,” next week, as the two can be seenhaving a heart-to-heart in previously released images. At SDCC this summer, we also learned that, at some point, Jay willfinallybe able to see the ghosts — and though we don’t know when or for how long, both fans and the cast are thrilled to see Ambudkar tackle that twist. At NYCC,McIver spoke excitedly to Collider’sPerri Nemiroffabout how the dynamics shifted on set, saying:

“It certainly changes the onset dynamic because Utkarsh gets to play with his fellow actors in a way that he hasn’t been able to. When you’re working in an ensemble, I think the thing that we do that I love the most is that we really work through scenes. When we’re on set, we’ll attempt to figure out moments and beats and everything together. That doesn’t, sometimes, include Utkarsh, not because he’s not a part of that scene, but because a lot of times, the rhythms will be on two different sides of the camera. I will say like, just allowing him to be a part of that process just felt so wonderful and new and great and so exciting.”
