The new official trailer forDisenchantmentkicked off the panel for the highly anticipated new series fromMatt Groeningat San Diego Comic Con 2018 earlier today. The trailer features a medieval inspired re-recording ofDavid Bowie’s hit song “Rebel Rebel”, so it’s already off to a great start. Add in Groening’s signature humor and characterization alongside some familiar animation set within a world of sweeping, fantasy-world vistas, and it’s clear that Netflix has another winner on their hands.

From the mind of Matt Groening, comes the 10-episode adult animated comedy fantasy series, Disenchantment, launching on Netflix, June 20, 2025. In Disenchantment, viewers will be whisked away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools.
