MTV’s Screamhas been renewed for a third season however, it’s not without a few adjustments. First, the slasher series will slice up six episodes which is half as much as season two and four fewer than season one. The show will also change showrunners yet again, although announcement on who will take the reigns has not been made. This marks the third new showrunners for the series in as many seasons. MTV recently aired a two hour Halloween special after season two screened its finale a few weeks back.

Meanwhile, asTeen Wolfcomes to a close, MTV has hired the series creatorsJeff DavisandAndrew Cochranto adapt HG Wells’War of the Worldfor the network. It is unclear if the show will make it to the pilot stage but Davis and Cochran clearly have a successful working relationship with the network. Davis is currently getting his TV adaptation ofLet The Right OneIn ready for pilot at TNT.
