What Is ‘Talamasca: The Secret Order’?

The new series joinsInterview With the VampireandMayfair Witchesin the Immortal Universe on AMC. Per the shiny new trailer that dropped at San Diego Comic Con, fans will get to see Nicholas Denton as Guy, a new recruit for the Talamasca. He seems to be initially learning the ropes from Elizabeth McGovern’s Helen, who narrates the trailer. The important part of the Talamasca is observation, always watching, which means staying out of sight of vampires, witches, and demons. One of Guy’s first tasks seems to involve some kind of vampire attack, with a file featuring a victim sporting a mangled throat. Guy is recruited for an ability he seems to want to hide. As he continues,Guy is warned that the Talamasca aren’t who they say they are(what secret society is? Let’s be real here.)The trailer doesn’t give any indication of how Molloy will end up entangled with the plot ofTalamasca: The Secret Order, but given his very public journalistic efforts with a supernatural being and Talamasca’s very secretive nature, that natural dichotomy may drive some of the friction in his appearance.

Talamasca: The Secret Orderpremieres October 26. Stay with Collider for the latest updates.
