Brady Corbet’sThe Brutalist, his first feature since 2018’sVox Lux, has assembled an all-star cast.Adrien Brody,Felicity Jones,Guy Pearce, andJoe Alwynwill star in the upcoming decades-spanning drama. In addition to Brody, Jones, Pearce, and Alwyn, the film will also starRaffey Cassidy(White Noise),Isaach De Bankolé(Black Panther: Wakanda Forever),Alessandro Nivola(Face/Off),Stacy Martin(Nymphomaniac),Jonathan Hyde(Titanic), andPeter Polycarpou(Evita).

The Brutalistwill span thirty years in the life of Hungarian architect László Toth (Brody), who flees postwar Europe with his wife Erzsébet (Jones) to build a new life in America. There, their lives are forever changed by a wealthy, enigmatic client (Pearce). The film has been in the works for years, and was greatly delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic; in 2020, it was reported that it was set to starJoel Edgerton,Marion Cotillard,Vanessa Kirby, andSebastian Stan, all of whom have since left the production.
