InKeeping Up With the KardashiansSeason 14,Kim asked hersister Khloé Kardashian to be the surrogatefor her third child. Finding a suitable surrogate was proving to be a harder task than Kim thought. However, as Kim playfully joked with her sister, she knew Khloe loved and cared for her kids greatly, so she thought her sister would make a great surrogate.
Unfortunately, Khloe declined the request claiming that while she’d love to be a surrogate, the doctors said it would be difficult for her to conceive. However, after Kim took her to a fertility doctor, she had to tell the truth. She never officially tried to get pregnantLamar Odom,nor did she truly have fertility issues. While there was a minor scare with the egg count, all was sorted out with a few doctor’s appointments. Ultimately, Khloe made the deicion to lie because her relationship wasn’t in the best spot, but this little fib certainly raised a lot of red flags.

The family attempted to be supportive, especially on social media.However, on the show, some of the siblings were harsh and made hurtful, unnecessary comments.As Rob was adjusting to his new life, Kim made several comments or “jokes” as she would put it, about Rob’s weight gain.
One of the jokes that really took the cake and stung even the viewers was a comment about a distorted tattoo.In Rob’s earlier years, he tattooed a ‘life-sized Barbie doll of Rita’ that she joked now looked like a “cabbage-patch kid” since it was distorted by his weight gain.Since then, Rob’s been on a downward spiral and fans essentially watched him form into the recluse he currently is.

At the beginning of the lockdown, the family received scrutiny for their lack of self-awareness and selfish attitude when they threw a massive private party on an island.
The international blowout featured dancing and other festivities that broke more of the Covid-19 social distancing rules. Fans refused to let it go as the Kardashians were obviously gloating.However, the Kardashains didn’t seem to learn their lesson.In 2024, Kourtney andTravis Scotttested positive for Covid-19 after a six-hour makeout session. To make this worse, they still decided to attend the baby shower, essentially putting everyone’s health at risk.

At the time, their youngest son, Mason, was only a baby and Kourtney was at the hotel in mom mode. Only the situation went south after she woke and smelled marijuana throughout the room.She woke up Scott to confront him, which led to a massive blowout.Scott took his frustration out in the bathroom and broke the mirror. He needed surgery and Kourtney started seeing her ex in a different light.

Helping the less fortunate and bringing awareness to poverty-stricken areas are generally a good thing.However, theKardashians often relieve flack for their antics, especially when their selfless actions really highlight how out of touch they are with the community.One of the most obvious representations of this is when the family drove through impoverished areas in a Rolls-Royce, which was an obvious and gross display of their wealth.
To make this situation even worse, Khloe was dolled up in beautiful yet expensive jewelry, and she hollered at people to come to her car.The entire scene was cringy but also revealed just how self-absorbed and aloof the Kardashians can be.They also treated the experience as if they were taking a trip down memory lane and remembering an old family trip instead of truly seeing the circumstances for what they were.

Staying on the topic of homelessness,there’s another decision the Kardashians madethat really seemed to be a ploy rather than a heartfelt gesture. Giving back to the community is a great way to stay connected and offer support. While the Kardashians definitely try to be more altruistic,their antics often seem more exploitative and performative than genuine. A perfect example is when the Kardashians helped a homeless man, Shorty.
While their hearts might have been in the right place, their actions seemed empty. Kim would dismissively say “we’ll do what we can” as if she was a struggling worker who couldn’t make ends meet.They also did the bare minimum of helping him, but were, at the same time, visibly uncomfortable with Shorty being in their home.Then, when they tried to find Shorty, they questioned and scoffed at other homeless people giving the whole “selfless deed” a gross undertone.

Unfortunately,Scott struggled in many areas,including how to treat others.The massive Kardashian clan went out to dinner in Las Vegas.Scott was drunk and Kris asked the waiter to cut him off. Scott, belligerant and unhappy, confronted the waiter.
Scott threatened the man and made it clear that when he wanted another drink, the waiter was to listen to him, not Kris. The waiter did attempt to defend himself while simultaneously trying to defuse the situation and calm Scott.However, Scott only became more agitated and stuffed a few loose bills into the waiter’s mouth while shouting at him to “shut your f*****g mouth.”

Siblings argue all the time, especially when they’re younger. Of course, families would hope that siblings can grow out of this competitive nature, but that doesn’tseem to be the case for the Kardashians. Between growing up in a close, tight-knit family, and their lives always in the public’s eyes, it’s got to be difficult to always get along and keep it together.However, Kylie took the sibling rivalry up several notches and disrespected her sister in a way that caused a huge uproar from fans.Kylie and Kendall were struggling to get along all day, and Kendall was already upset over the preferential treatment shown to the youngest sister.
They tried to push aside their differences and enjoy the party, but the situation escalated once Kendall asked to be dropped off at home. Kylie denied the request, which caused the sisters to het into a screaming match. Then Kylie took her high heel to Kendall’s neck and threatened her before leaving her all alone on the side of the road in the middle of the night.What particularly made this decision more extreme was knowing Kendall has extreme anxiety and was also dealing with unknown stalkers,so Kylie put her sister’s life in danger in more ways than one.

Similar to theKylie and Kendall situation, sibling rivalriesare to be expected, but sometimes the stars take it too far, and it turns into a full-blown physical altercation. This situation started over a disagreement about work ethics.Kim felt like she was the only one with a solid work ethic and contributed the most to their festivities. Kourtney felt like she was being ganged up on by her sisters. She also felt singled out and didn’t understand why Kim or the other siblings wanted Kourtney to live life the way they do.
Kourtney tried to stick up for herself, claiming that she’s free to do what she wanted, even if that included being a “stay at home mom.” Kim mocked and laughed at her, making her more exacerbated, so Kourtney got in her face.The pair continued to scream and yell, and even shared a few giggles before Kim swiftly smacked her a handful of times.Overall, highlighting this kind of violence and inner family problems certainly doesn’t portray them in the best of lights.
